Planting and care

Plant in well-drained, slightly acidic soil enriched with organic matter. This polar blueberry likes a sunny spot and tolerates cold regions. Space plants 60 cm apart. Add peat or compost at planting time.

Water regularly the first year after planting to make sure the roots take well. Once established, the shrub is very drought tolerant. Organic mulch keeps the soil moist and acidic. No pruning is needed; let the plant take its natural shape.
