Planting and care

Plant in full sun in well-drained, moderately fertile soil. Dig a hole slightly wider than the root ball and backfill with a mix of soil and organic matter. Firm well and water thoroughly after planting.

Water regularly during the growing season, especially for the first two years, to keep the soil evenly moist without waterlogging. Once established, this spirea tolerates drought well. Prune lightly after flowering to encourage a compact silhouette and a fall rebloom.
