Planting and care

Plant in well-drained soil, in full sun or light part shade. Choose an airy spot. Dig a hole slightly wider than the root ball and amend if the soil is poor. Firm well and water generously at planting.

Keep the soil moderately moist during the first year. Once established, white meadowsweet tolerates drought well. Prune lightly after flowering to keep the shape. Little care is needed afterwards; avoid severe pruning, which reduces flowering.
