Planting and care

Plant in fall or spring in rich, well-drained, slightly acidic soil. Space plants 0.6 to 0.9 m apart. Work compost in at planting and spread 5 cm of mulch to hold in moisture and reduce weeds.

Water regularly the first year to make sure the roots take well. During the growing season, keep the soil moist but not waterlogged. Prune after the fall harvest by removing the canes that have fruited. This everbearing variety produces on second-year canes and on the current year's new canes.
