Planting and care

Plant in moist to wet, rich, well-structured soil. Choose a sunny spot (at least 6 hours) for the best flowering. Preparing the planting hole with added organic matter improves establishment, especially where conditions are drier than its natural habitat.

This rose tolerates constantly moist or even temporarily flooded soils very well. Water regularly during the first season to make sure it takes. Once established, its water needs remain high, but the plant adapts to natural cycles. Spread organic mulch to keep the soil moist and regulate its temperature. A light pruning after flowering is enough to keep the shape.
