Potentilla fruticosa 'Happy Face Orange'

Plant in full sun, in well-drained, poor to moderately fertile soil. The shrub tolerates sandy and rocky soils. Dig a hole the size of the root ball, set the plant at the same level and backfill without firming. Adding coarse sand improves drainage if the soil is heavy.

Water regularly during the first season to make sure it takes well. Once established, this potentilla needs little watering and thrives in dry conditions. No pruning is required, but a light renewal in spring encourages a compact shape. Very hardy, it doesn't mind the cold and needs no care.
