Planting and care

Plant in full sun in well-drained soil, even poor or sandy. Space 60 to 90 cm apart. Planting is done in spring or fall. Water moderately the first year to encourage rooting.

This perennial is very tolerant once established. Water little; it handles drought well. Cut the stems back to the ground in late winter or early spring before growth resumes. No regular treatment or fertilizing is needed.
