Planting and care

Plant in full sun in well-drained soil, ideally light and slightly sandy. Spacing between plants should be at least 30 cm. Dig a hole as deep as the root ball and set the plant at the same level as in its container. Backfill with enriched growing mix and firm lightly.

Water regularly after planting until it is established (3–4 weeks). Once rooted, the plant tolerates drought well. Moderate watering during flowering promotes flower production. At the end of the season, leave the stems in place until spring to protect the crown.
