Horizon Work Gloves

The everyday gardening glove: a soft, breathable black knit shell with a black coating on the palm and fingertips only. The back stays bare knit, which lets the hand breathe. The coating gives grip on a wet handle, a slippery pot or a wheelbarrow handle, while keeping enough feel to tie a stake or transplant a seedling.

• EN 388: 3132X — the four digits are the results of the glove's mechanical tests, each on its own scale:
• Abrasion: 3 out of 4
• Cut (coup test): 1 out of 5
• Tear: 3 out of 4
• Puncture: 2 out of 4
• The X in fifth position means the TDM cut test was not performed
• Part number printed on the glove: 751180 (read on size L/G)
• The glove also carries the Sanitized® logo, a treatment applied to the fabric by the manufacturer

Use

• Planting, repotting, weeding, handling pots and bags
• Light pruning and tying work, where you need to keep a light touch
• This is not a glove for protection against thorns, blades or chemicals: for roses, brambles or spreading products, wear a glove made for that

Care

• Rinse off the soil in cold water and let it air-dry, flat
• Avoid the dryer: heat stiffens the coating and peels it off the knit
• Replace the glove as soon as the coating wears through or the knit frays
