Planting and care

Plant in well-drained soil, in full sun. Adding sand and organic matter improves drainage. Space plants 30 cm apart. Avoid compacted or wet soils, which encourage crown rot.

Water regularly at planting to make sure the roots establish, then moderately once settled. Let it dry slightly between waterings. Remove spent flowers to extend the bloom. Low maintenance once established.
