Planting and care

Plant in full sun in rich, well-drained, slightly alkaline soil. Spacing between plants should be at least 25 cm. Avoid spots where water collects, as this plant dislikes excess moisture and root rot.

Water moderately and let the soil dry slightly between waterings. During the growing season, regular watering is enough. No pruning is required, but pinching the stems in spring encourages a compact shape and more generous flowering. Remove spent flowers to extend the bloom until the first frosts.
