Planting and care

Plant Cotinus 'Winecraft Gold' in full sun to get the best foliage colour. Choose well-drained soil, even poor or limy. Leave at least 1.5 m between plants to ensure good air circulation.

Water regularly for the first few weeks after planting. Once established, this shrub is very drought tolerant and only needs water during long droughts. Avoid soils that are too wet or poorly drained, which lead to decline.
