BIOSOL Compost – 25 L

Fafard's BIOSOL compost is a marine compost made of composted manure and peat, with added seaweed and crustacean meal. Fafard designed it for planting and maintaining vegetable gardens and garden beds: it improves the structure of sandy soils while adding nutrients to the soil.

How to use

• In an existing vegetable garden or garden bed, work a layer of compost into the top 15 centimetres of the existing soil
• Do this once a year, in spring or fall
• To start a new vegetable garden, Fafard suggests adding BIOSOL compost to All-Purpose Garden Soil at a ratio of 1 to 4
