Made of 100% cedar, it reduces how often you need to water by slowing the evaporation of water from the soil, and protects roots from frost and drought. Deep black, the most contrasting of the three: it clearly outlines borders and light foliage.

Uses

In garden beds

At the foot of trees, shrubs and hedges

On paths and walkways

Features

Size: 85 L bag (3 cu ft)

Composition: 100% cedar

Colour: black

Coverage: about 1.7 m² (18 sq ft) at 5 cm (2 in) thick, or 1.1 m² (12 sq ft) at 7.5 cm (3 in) thick

Use: groundcover, outdoors

Brand: Fafard

How to use

Remove surface weeds before applying.

Spread the mulch 5 cm (2 in) thick: one bag then covers about 1.7 m² (18 sq ft).
